3.23.23 // Finding Magic

Finding magic.
.
I like to think that in every moment there is magic.
.
I like to think there is magic wafting through the breeze around me. Sometimes she makes herself known by playing with my hair and sometimes she makes herself known by wafting under my nose disguised as my favorite smells- palo santo, eucalyptus, evergreen, fresh-cut grass, or gardenia.
.
I like to think that magic is an invisible living being, something along the lines of an electric force. Sometimes she makes herself known through the rays of light that beam down on cloudy days and sometimes she makes herself known through chubby snowflakes falling on a spring morning.
.
I like to think magic is always there, but she is most present in the hard moments, the in-between moments, and the mundane moments. It's easy to see her in the calm, happy, easy times, but when we need her most is when she is most abundant.
.
I like to think we simply slide away from her when our minds are chaotic, but she is always trying to capture our attention, especially when we stop seeing her.
.
I think magic wants to be seen, felt, and shared. And I think magic while she is the same buzzy, invisible feeling for all, I think she manifests differently for each person.
.
So the question is, are you finding magic?
