It is the year of AUDACITY.

May we reclaim this word for the beautiful and bold, using it to fuel our fire and truth.

May we be unafraid to be disruptive of the expectations that society places on us from a young age. Let us kindly but firmly refuse to people-please and lose ourselves for the benefit of someone else's comfort.

May we be empowered to use the voice we've been told to temper and tone so we don't come across as "rude" when speaking up.

May we have audacity in the face of judgment and shame, turning that dark cloaking oppression and pressure to fall back into line into a bright searing light that guides our paths forward.

May we use audacity as power for the good, the great, and the "impossible." Trusting ourselves to boldly, bravely, and unabashedly move through this world like we were meant to be here, proudly moving with kindness and love.

In this year, audaciousness is a compliment, not an insult.
