6.8.21 // time
Time.
.
The elusive and invisible marker of inevitable finite existence.
.
How it dances and taunts with each passing moment, rainstorms on an ocean powerful enough to overturn ships one moment and bestow sunshine on the wreckage a moment later.
.
Time is a construct meant to ground us in the present but consistently leads us to the misunderstanding that we have any control over its passing.
.
Still, we struggle to find solutions to its passing, we desperately search for ways to keep the wrinkles off our faces, the sunspots off of our skin, and ways for us to exist in the present with distractions of the promise of the future.
.
But if we faced time, embraced wrinkles, sunspots, the present moments, what would life look like?
.
Beautiful.
.
Our existence in this moment is nothing short of a miracle so I can only imagine if we took time into our arms instead of battling her like an enemy, it would be the most beautiful union.
.
Walking hand in hand with the keeper of the finite infinitely.
