.
Thanks to Facebook Memories, I was reminded of a post I wrote and sent out last year.
.
A "this is me" post, "This is me in quarantine, a petri dish for insecurities, fears, and anxieties."
.
I go on to say, "The swirl of emotions around the news & uncertainty for the next several weeks is enough to trigger any of us." Who would have thought we'd still be here a year later.
.
The year no one expected.
.
But unlike last year, the photo of me showing a somber emotion in my face, this year I’m feeling giddy... there is a light at the end of the tunnel- vaccines rolling out.
.
I’m feeling good seeing the world slowly take a step forward.
.
I know we have a long way to go but progress even small progress can and should be celebrated!
.
So this is the face I’ll be making when I see you flash your vaccine card ;)
