12.3.24 // Glimmers Lately, Fall '24

Glimmers.
.
“A glimmer is the exact opposite of a trigger—it is some kind of cue, either internal or external, that brings one back to a sense of joy or safety.”
.
Every six months or so, I post some of the glimmers in life lately that are bringing me joy. In hopes of making a tradition, here are the glimmers I have from this fall and early winter so far:
.
1. Sweet, sweaty Scout snuggles. We are aging together, and it's been beautiful and challenging to see.
2. The BEST fish tacos and burritos I've ever had.
3. Pumpkin picking with David.
4. Walks after dinner with this crew.
5. The 15k Turkey Trot that was so festive and fun! (Even D, Mr."Thanksgiving is basically just a normal Thursday," got into the spirit!!)
6. Spending time on the Oregon Coast for a dream project.
7. Long, consistent, challenging, and fun road runs.
8. LARCH Madness was one of the best trail runs I've had all year.
9. Queuing up "Eye of the Tiger" for a ski clothes fashion show (Scout loved it).
10. Decorating the "Pink Scouty Club" (home) with colorful and festive lights to keep the big dark winter a little less daunting!
