This almost 22-mile adventure with 6,000+ ft of elevation gain was the most soaked I’ve ever been, trudging through nearly 9 hours of rain-soaked, unpredictable trail. The moody weather brought every bit of challenge: steep climbs, slippery footing, and stretches of sheer cliff that dropped straight into the ocean below. Not exactly runnable, but every rugged, stunning, and even scary moment was worth it for some of the most stunning and wild vistas.
