Places that take our senses on a trip that is equally as vast as the landscape in front of us.

Through squinted eyes, we’ll be captivated by the startling lack thereof. Lack of life, lack of color, lack of blatant possibility. A familiar nagging feeling in an unfamiliar place.

Through wind pierced ears, we’ll hear the sand swirling over the dunes. We’ll listen as the wind whispers sweet secrets to each grain of sand. The secrets tempting the sand into a dance over the earth, pushing and pulling endlessly.

Through warm clouds of air we’ll taste and smell the infinite. The warm air mixed with cold bursts will tickle our noses and sand will find the small openings of our mouth even when our lips are pushed firmly together.

Through sun-kissed dunes, we’ll run our fingers and dig our exposed toes into the golden mountains. We’ll relish in the warmth and pick up small handfuls of what feels like small universes, stardust from another time, and let them slowly run through our fingers.

In those moments, time will slow and we’ll be brought back. Back to a time so simple, so familiar yet unfamiliar, and we will be lost in the found.
