5.23.24 // Glimmers Spring 2024
Glimmers.
.
"A glimmer is the exact opposite of a trigger—it is some kind of cue, either internal or external, that brings one back to a sense of joy or safety."
.
A year ago, I posted some of the glimmers in life lately that are bringing me joy. In hopes of making a tradition, here are the glimmers I have from this spring so far:
.
1. The Grand Canyon (I have so much more to say about her, but she has been a glimmer of monumental impact).
2. Scout (nothing more needs to be said there)...
3. Dinners on patios in my hometown of Chattanooga with my Mom.
4. Messy hair days from road trips with the windows down.
5. Beautiful encounters with nature.
6. Spending time in the spring rain in Squamish (I know my face doesn't say it, but I was so happy!)
7. Eating in bed after 50 miles in the Grand Canyon.
8. Spending time with two of my best friends from high school.
9. Fresh bread from the bakery down the street in Seattle.
10. Ice cream dates with some of the coolest kids in the PNW.
