2.21.22 // Strip Me Down

strip me down
.
to my core
.
and leave me naked.
.
You think I'll be exposed, but I'll be alive
.
left with nothing to cover me and no place to hide.
.
But I haven't been hiding, you just haven't been looking.
.
Looking at the truth of who I am.
.
You see what you want, but I'm not what you want.
.
I'm what I want.
.
Maybe without the distractions and my naked skin, you'll finally see the truth within.
.
