10.14.21 // This is Me

This is me.
.
As we're moving into the final quarter of the year, and summer is slipping away to fall, I am taking a pause to take stock of what is going on in my life, in my head, and in my heart.
.
I have two mantras right now:
1- I do not chase, I attract, what is mine will simply find me. (thanks TikTok for that one)
2- Roadblocks are meant to keep you from going down a path you shouldn’t go down...
.
I have 3 favorites foods:
1- Almond butter, which I think I'm taking in by the gallon at this point (@jeanherve_jeanherve you’ve created a monster). I can quite literally put it on anything, and damn it is incredible.
2- Fresh bread from France... goes perfectly with the almond butter or olive oil or eaten straight out of the wrapping as soon as you leave the bakery.
3- Roasted broccoli. I like it a little burnt, fresh out of the oven, oh it tastes like fall!
.
I have 3 central "concerns" that I'm trying not to overthink:
1- overthinking (meta I know), but I am trying to spend less time endlessly overthinking thoughts that are my own making...
2- the next few months, prioritizing my needs and wants while being supportive to Taylor
3- listening to my intuition with less apprehension.
.
My favorite trail of the last quarter: Chamonix village center to La Flégère past Chalet de la Floria. About 4.8 miles from my front door to La Flégère and it is beautiful and challenging, but not a technical monster.
.
My current favorite song: "Collide (From 'Queen & Slim: The Soundtrack')" by Tiana Major9 and EARTHGANG. It's so smooth and sexy and delicious. I love it. It's been on repeat for weeks.
.
My favorite memory as of recent: sipping tea on top of a mountain with a view of Mont Blanc with an incredible new friend (pictured).
.
My big plans in the works:
1- What this next "building" phase of my life looks like.
2- Defining stability and finding community.
3- Traveling with you? Stay tuned for more on that! Anyone interested in Patagonia next winter? ;)
.
This next quarter is going to be different, I can feel it. The winds of change are coming...
